This San Galgano Abbey wedding has a special place in my heart. San Galgano Abbey is a Monastery, located about thirty kilometers away from Siena, in the municipality of Chiusdino in Tuscany. It’s a magical place for wedding photos, and the missing roof that collapsed in 1768 enhances the architectural elegance of the lines that rush towards the open sky. So what a better place to celebrate the love of the lovely Marjorie and her beloved architect David?
After the civil union they continued the celebration in Villa Podernovo, a charming villa with the typical Tuscan feeling where they celebrated with an italian aperitivo, an al fresco dinner and the most romantic first dance under the stars to the tune of “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli. The last touch to this San Galgano wedding? A gelato cart at midnight. Everything perfectly styled and planned by Wiskow and White.
